Weekly update of market, volume, and volatility trends (based on the 250 stocks I follow):

Updated for close of trading day Friday, 07/12/2001

As of Friday's close, only one stock of my 250 has a positive weekly MACD, positive 50 day EMA, and positive 200 day EMA. That stock is EBAY.

Some beaten up stocks are breaking positive with their 50 day EMA. They are CIEN, EMC, JDSU, NXTL, and ORCL. Might want to keep your eye on these!

Take a look at Power Volume stocks

and sectors

as of Fridays close! Some tech stocks are seeing strong money inflows relative to the overall market - believe it, or not! Haven't seen that for a while.

COHU was weakening on most fronts going into the weekend while the overall semi equipment sector was doing much better.
