I would add piss-poor marketing and a lack of basic business sense.

Regardless of what anyone's opinion is on why AMD products are difficult to locate - the bottom line is they are difficult to locate, and somewhere within AMD land, they have failed. It is amazing to me that they can't figure this out. They need to fire their entire marketing & advertising department and start over. Problem is they've waited so long, they're in a very deep hole, since they'll lose so much money this year.

If Hammer is a killer, I hope they still have some money to market it correctly.

OTOH, I bought some AMD shares last week - and they're still positive! That's more than I can say for just about anything else I own.
