Curious. If law was changed to exempt tax on dividends, wouldn't the problem(s) of bubbles (what really is the fair PE?) and much phoney accounting evaporate?

If dividends were the standard against which performance was measured, wouldn't this provide more confidence, stability, and realistic valuations?
