No they didn't admit anything. They stated that the fed might have to look into "extraordinary measures" when or if rate cuts no longer had any effect.

Until greenspan admits he and his partners in crime at the big brokerages buy futures on behalf and for the benefit of the fed, it is still just a "rumor"...

Of course that's sort of like the "rumor" that Britney Spears isn't a virgin. :)
