No Ali you don't understand. Because RE values have increased many people have borrowed the value of their loan at a lesser rate. say they used to pay 700 per month but now they only pay 550 which puts 150 of cash in their pockets every month. On top of thatthey have turned around and taken out an equity loan and either paid down debt or bought something. They have therefore monetized the increased value in their home. JFD
