2 pieces of nice news today: 1. Electro Scientific beats by two cents (ESIO) 22.87 +0.13: Reports Q4 (May) loss of $0.03 per share, $0.02 better than the Multex consensus of ($0.05); revenues fell 53.2% year/year to $41.1 mln vs the $37.3 mln consensus; net orders for the fourth quarter were $49.8 million compared with $33.3 million in the third quarter, and the backlog at the end of the quarter was $27.2 million, compared with $18.5 million at the beginning of the quarter. 2. [OT] Reports that Bin Laden was wounded last December, has recovered, but won't issue any Video until after the next attack on America. This leads me to believe that he's already dead; he's had the habit of shipping out the videos a couple weeks or so PRIOR to the attack not after. Why change if he's not already dead and unable to produce any "verifiably new" videos?
