The company hired an executive search firm to find a new CEO for America Online, now run by COO Bob Pittman." July 10: Reiterate Strong Buy/aggressive "Based on our review of the company`s fundamentals, we are making adjustments to our model for the balance of 2002, and for 2003." [Ratings were raised here.] July 9: Reiterate Hold/Conservative "secured a new $10 billion dollar credit facility yesterday, which should allow it to comfortably continue to have sufficient financial capacity to pursue acquisitions" June 26: Reiterationstrong buy / aggr "Blackstone Capital Partners III LP bought a major stake in the Columbia House music and video direct-marketing club in a deal valued at about 400-million" These are reported on the jagnotes.com web site.
