Hi Chris, when you hedge with options you get time decay on the premiums. It's much easier to make money in this market either using the futures or using the products like the QQQ's. If you are long volatility in options, it is a matter of hitting the timing right, thus you need a crystal ball or maybe an Table of movements also known as an ephemeris. JP
