The key word is YET...Edwards learns quickly and has had a big impact in the Senate in a short period of time...the fact that he's not entrenched as a career politician
could be very appealing to voters who may be looking for an 'outsider' to shake things up...Folks will be looking for a candidate they can trust who will tackle the big issues head on. It would be ideal for Edwards to recruit funding from 1 large source -- like billionaire George Soros (who is a change agent)...this may not sound practical but its possible...the key is to not have to rely on a lot of the big money from 'traditional sources' -- lobbyists and interest groups can force you to make decisions you don't want to make...Finally, if Edwards had experienced advisors (like the rajan Cajun James Carville) then he could be a very strong candidate. It all comes down to positioning and focussing on the right issues....JMHO.
