Re: Isn't Bush singing Israel's tune? He has called for Arafat to go (Sharon wanted that).

If so, why did American Jews do their best to WRECK Bush's bid to the White House in 2000?? If Bush were the Zionists' puppet, why did the Zionist lobby stage the so-called Florida Discount?!?

As for "Sharon's will to get rid of Arafat", well... WHO CARES ABOUT ARAFAT, ANYWAY? Even Arafat doesn't care about Arafat --LOL! Don't you see that this personalizing on Arafat is just a SIDESHOW? What's at stake? What's the REAL issue? The real issue is a PALESTINIAN STATE. And that's another thing Sharon wants to get rid of... BUT, as Israel's top official, he can't blurt it --that's the peddling job of Greater Israel's chief salesman, Netanyahu.

As I explained it months ago, it all boils down to a seismic recombination of the Mideast status quo: EU/Russia/Arabs vs US/Israel. The former bloc doesn't want President Bush to pull through his vision of a Palestinian state because it would expose their own IRRELEVANCE in furthering Arab countries' interests. Indeed, if Bush successfully pulls it off, he'll just scoop the pool: the US will remain Israel's main sponsor AND become the Palestinians' greatest benefactor as well! Hence, at that point, the widespread anti-Americanism in the Arab world would become pointless --and such an ominous prospect doesn't suit neither the Euros, the Russians nor the Israelis. Although the Euros (including Euro-Israelis) and the Russians (including Russian-Israelis) are the most Islamophobic and Arab-bashing people (just think of Oriana Fallaci's Arabophobic lampoon), they're the ones who keep posturing as the Arab world's best friends --such a sinister farce indeed. Yet, times have changed, and the US, under President Bush's leadership, is forcing a showdown... the phoney status quo is doomed.
