| | what Camera do you use?
Over the decades of shooting and teaching I've tried pretty much every 35mm on the market. For years I used only the Leica M3, M4-2, M4-P and M6 with 21, 28, 35, 40, 50, and 90mm lenses. All Leica lenses except for the 28 and 40mm, which are Minoltas for the Minolta CLE, but work just fine on the Leica. I had the 28mm altered so it activates the 28mm frame lines in the Leica's viewfinder. Since autofocus Canon lenses came out I haven't used the Leica much. These days my work horses are four Canon Elan IIe bodies with 20-35, 28-70, and 70-210mm f/2.8 zooms. I also have the 1.4 extender for the long zoom, and a two straight lenses, the 35mm f/2 and the 50mm f/1.8. The bodies are not the best I've ever had, one is almost always in the shop, but they get the job done, are relatively quiet (important for live entertainment shooting) and are very reasonably priced. For daily walking around town kicks I play with the rock bottom digital Eyemodule2, a module for the Handspring Visor PDA ( eyemodule.com )
I haven't been in my darkroom for years. Instead, my darkroom is now all digital: the new 14inch Apple iBook, Canon CanoScan FS2710 film and slide scanner, and the Epson Photo EX printer.

Do you use anything other than the Olympus C-4040? Any likes/complaints besides the shutter lag? |
