my solution is politically unacceptable for turnaround phase in slowly banking reserves to gold from USTBonds worldwide this will invite a painful recession, unavoidable either have recession that heals, or a recession that will neither end nor heal return to the gold standard (we are selling off our gold anyway, why not instead use it to discourage current account deficit?) disband the US Federal Reserve (they have caused every depression and panic) rely completely upon credit markets to determine interest rate policy rely upon USCongress and national referendums to finance world financial "accidents" repeal social safety net legislation across the country rewrite federal pensions, military pensions expand line-item vetos to eliminate pork in every bill two-term limits for US senators divert the $50B spent each year defending MidEast oil channels do so with a 4-yr phaseout, fully announced instead spend the money on fuelcell development and product subsidies expand widely our energy development with Canada flunk students in public schools who fail the curriculum have literacy tests in the 4th grade, not 12th grade enforce competency of teachers revisit laws regarding admissible evidence liberalize search & seizure & wiretap of foreigners inside our borders exercise deportation on a more regular basis end Russian participation NATO Security meetings (make such a large step earned over time) have Europe share world police sentry duties in Europe have Japan/China share world police sentry duties in Asia how is that for a start? as I said, totally impracticable, politically unacceptable our financial demise has been legislated / jim
