On the radio I heard that the investors in the Texas Rangers made a five fold gain in their investment, mostly due to getting the City of Arlington taxpayers to buy them a stadium.

That was all investors except George W. Bush Jr. He made twenty-five times his original investment. Junior was a Johny-come-lately investor and was as useful to the team as George Castanza was to the Yankees.
