Oh, I think THEY created it too, but I think the "THEY" is more the investment banking firms, hedge funds, CEO's, and others that knew they could make a real killing if they could start the craze and build it to wild heights. Even the media was involved. Then, they could make even way more money helping to collapse it and riding the way down. All they had to do was wait for the fears of valuation to return. What they got was corporate scandals, Bin Laden, falling dollar, India-Pakistan and a whole host of things that helped them out greatly. I always blame those who get richest from what happened. I don't think AG was at the heart of that, even thought I agree he is way too full of himself. I never praised him in the "good times" and I don't mainly blame him now. Interest rates and monetary policy have been much more volatile and extreme in the past, but we've never seen a percentage rise in Markets like the Naz before.
