INTC is going to lay off 20,000 people and cut Capex something like $0.5 Billion. How is that going to help the SOXX and the market? MSFT hasn't had anything good to say recently. They're giving away the Xbox, and PC sales are flat, as are Windows XP sales by extension.

IT budgets are being slashed, and Linux keeps gaining ground. Unless MSFT announces something like some kind of software that gives the user an orgasm everytime it crashes, I don't see much positive coming out of that earnings announcement.
