I think you make an excellent point. At this point I believe there
are a few very important things to consider and they are:
A. The Patent (only one in world). All the articles or bad press
hype or anything else cannot rewrite it now.
B. Freeny is still alive and will in all likelihood testify for our side.
C. Edata lawyer is supposed to be good (very good).
D. The Beginning of Internet Commerce will never happen again. NEVER
E. Mr. F. (I hope he knows we mean the abbreviation mean kindly) since he had the good judgement and was shrewd enough to both find the patent and buy it, then I must maintain a high confidence level in him. He seems to be a very intelligent and shrewd cookie, I believe that is exactly what it will take to pull this off.
I really like A,B,C,D,& E! The reason I will not go wild and put a huge figure on the line is I simply know from many past civil litigations how protracted they can be. I do not know how many times I have seen judges in civil cases in Federal Court wipe out claims by the stroke of a pen (or a gavel). With that being said I can say I was always on the side that won, and like Edata I was the plaintiff or the petitioner. I plan to be on the winning side here also BUT I am very prepared to be on the losing side, and I am hopeful that others are too.
One of these days, people could say "yeah they got rich because of a little company, a dream, and the internet"! Most of us with this kind of iron stomach probably are pretty well fixed but this could be the
icing on the cake! We stand a 50% shot. I will increase my holdings again this week, regardless of the market.
I plan to maintain my confidence in Mr. F and the judicial system invisioned by a few "outcasts from England". Hey they can call us anything, but stupid, right?
