I believe the law requires the release of tax returns from the President and Vice -President.

There is no such requirement for member of the House or Senate. There is no sound reason for politicians to release their tax returns. It just creates shallow news stories.

Remember when Reagan released his tax return....the big surprise was how much of a cheapskate he was....no donations to charity of any significance.

Spouces of Senators are entitled to their own privacy.

Do you want to see the tax returns of Mrs. Phil Graham who was on Enron's Board...or Bill Clinton because he is Hillary's spouse.....I don't because these just become side issues that lead nowhere.
