typical contrary signals dont work in declining US$ envmt e.g. "an increase in daily volatility; the increased pace of equity fund withdrawals; and the decidedly bearish tone of investment advisors in recent weeks." when the capital tidal flows head out to sea, these negative signals are just that... negative they typically serve as resting points, not inflection points most analysts are relying upon techniques in the 1990's they dont work in this envmt the declining dollar creates an environment whereby funding for all manner of debts disappears we are heavily dependent upon foreigners they are pulling out soon they will gently pull out of USTreasuries / jim
