jim, it means yesterday 21 stocks in the NDX had a PnF buy signal [also called bullish percent]. Today the bp increased to 29. The low about 10 days ago was 8%. You can see all the bp Stockcharts calculates here at the bottom stockcharts.com You can see that bp for Nas, healthcare, infotech, telecom and NDX increased today. NDX now has 'bull confirmed' status stockcharts.com Maybe it will help to review what a PnF buy signal is stockcharts.com A stock can rise in the morning and make a PnF buy signal, then drop in the afternoon and still keep that buy signal [because PnF allows only one chart change per day]. Tomorrow the bp count could go down.
