OT/ Argentina: Looks like a lucrative market is developing in the Argentina treasury market. <GG?>.

Argentine Central Bank auctions US$55.6 million in 14 day debt at an annual rate of 125%. Tried to market some 91 day stuff, but sources said " The maturity period was too far into the future to draw investor interest". All this per a Reuters article July 16th.

Been reading Yahoo banking news last few weeks about dicey developments in Peru, Uruguay, Brazil, et al. Looks like things getting bad down SA way.

Still holding some PMs? I still hold a few of what Frank seems to like. Hope the market is nice for you this week and always. Missed reading the thread for a few days here and I need to catch up. Later.
