Hey
I believe in responsibility
a lot more than most people

My class always has to write thank you's to parents who contribute to our parties BEFORE they partake of the donations. We line up and we all sign the cards. It is my little secular way of saying grace. So don't think we agnostics aren't a very high falutin' moral (in our own way, and in our own opinion) bunch. Because imo we are very moralistic. We simply have to develop a rational system of morality. I'd never say it would work for everyone (unlike Christians- who are firmly convinced Christianity would work for me). Rights and responsibilities are quite easily taught without religion, imo. In fact in a diverse society you BETTER be able to teach them without religion. Because if you can't find a rational unifying reason for people to act decently, a multireligious society will fall apart. Just my opinion.

I realize this is a bit of a segue. But so what? :-)
