We simply have to develop a rational system of morality. Hmmmm. I'm tempted to say that there's no such thing; that that's an oxymoron. I want to think more before I say such a thing. And I want to consult my OED on the definition of morality, but I haven't moved it down to this house yet. But I'm tempted to argue that there can be no purely rational sense of morality; that any system of morality must posit something beyond sole rationality. . I think I need to consult Neo on this one. Neo, you around??
