AG: That is what he said and then he went on to give the CNBC hostess a lesson in option accounting and suggested that such matters be left to the accountants and not the social reformers. He pointed out that to expense options currently was poor accounting as it hit your earnings as an expense and then later on as dilutive when the shares were exercised. He said that was the simple explanation of why it was bad accountingi.e. you took a double hit which isn't accurate. He said it should not be dealt with in the P&L account. He did not bring up all the technicalities and problems of options issued but unexercised, options under the water, and the new paid in capital that accompanies these items.JFD
