nobody's buying computers Computer sales are certainly not robust. Replacement cycle for the machines bought in the Y2K scare is another year or 18 months away. There is no need for early replacement unless a compelling application - read that as broadband connections to the home - becomes available. Previous connectivity was jump started by the porn industry, but with Ashcroft sending the meter readers over to peek in windows I think the demand will remain "pent up". TP
