I don't know much about the farm spending bill except 1) it's an unbelievable welfare program for a select few and 2) I'm agin' it.

Frankly, I think the myth and hoopla over the "family farm" is a crock of shit. Why don't we struggle to save the other family businesses, such as the family 7-Eleven, the family dry cleaners, and the family pitch 'n putt?

I do have a question for an astute fellow such as yourself: would the farm welfare bill have passed in substantially the same form with Democrats, or would there have been some major changes? And, wasn't there something about outrageous milk subsidies promised by the Dems to get Jeffords to switch loin-cloths?

These are rhetorical questions, or Ray Duray ambush questions, these are just questions because I don't know the answers and think you probably do.
