Wow. 5 responses to my little request. I'm methodical but chemistry challenged and have read through the references in the first two posts. I'll take a nap and watch the market close before going into this post and the applications for patents. This is good for me, I'm sure and a lot of stuff I certainly did not know about XOMA (I bought what I call a starter position to get to know the company). Then I'll look at the next two posts addressed to me, probably later tonight. Thank you for your trouble. I now know what BPI is (bactericidal/permeability increasing protein), the Neuprex is rBPI21 (which is a modified fragment of BPI) and what Meningococcemia is (septicemia/sepsis) by neisseira meningitidis. So what's a protein (ggg)? Never mind--I'm reading but physics is more my forte. Lance
