EDIT: Jack, the use of the 55sma is something I've not really run into. The 20, 50, 100, 200 are the 'normal' ma's but 55?

Can you explain, in 1200 words or less, reasoning or where it comes from?

I just checked it on the ONE min chart and many of the price pivots moved from the 55sma rather than the 50ema. Most interesting.
