So if it is so self evident why sprinkle the deity everywhere else? You are not making sense. They say it is "self evident", even thought at the time is was NOT self evident at ALL that all men are created equal. What was evident everywhere else was that men were not created equal. What was evident in the country we were breaking from (England, let's not forget) was that men were created differently. He was not sprinkled, because our founders did not intend him to be sprinkled there.

Our founders decided to assume the premise for their document. What they said was not self evident then, and still isn't very self evident today. But it was a nice gesture.
