Re: AMD has now lost huge amounts of money in every single quarter since quantispeed

LOL!!!

They'd be dead without them - and you know it, and you hate it. If not for QuantiSpeed, Intel would have had a great quarter. Prior to QuantiSpeed, AMD's highest price processor on Pricewatch was $95, now they get well over $200 for their faster chips - more dollars, per mhz, than Intel - something that hadn't happened for a long time (if ever).

Intel is treading water while AMD puts together the double whammy of Hammer and Mirror-bit. And all Intel can do is pray AMD has problems with Hammer. Cause if they don't, Intel is screwed. Meanwhile, QuantiSpeed keeps AMD going, despite Intel's fraudulent P4 architecture and gangland style market extortion tactics.

Deal with it.
