No, not recommending a special dsl modem. Qwest will probably give you (or as Verizon does, loan you) a modem. I was suggesting per Louis' idea, that you get, instead of the dual source router you mentioned, two routers, one to handle your dsl connection and one to handle broadband, and then manage the connections like an old time telephone switchboard operator by plugging in your JN5 cables to whichever router you wish.
