Lenny, the problem that I see in the statements made to you yesterday from Neal is this kiosk thing again. Why does the kiosk have to be ready before any products are shipped to the stores? You do not need a kiosk in the Communication Expo store if you order it from their catalog, yet you still can not buy one today. The Miami and Dallas stores by my indications have already been trained. They are trying to tell us that the kiosk has taken 30 extra days to redesign! My take on this subject, is this is just a phony story for the delay in the product itself. I wish we had someone at the manufacture, who could verify if the units are being built right now......today.
This is from an official news release on April 22. "The first uniView devices will be shipped at the end of this month to a select group of key regional retailers. The plans for the uniView roll out will be to continue increased distribution, with a key focus on merchandising the product at the retail level and constant consumer education." We now know that no units were perhaps produced or shipped. Since the end of this month (April 30th), the only problem they keep saying is that of the kiosk. "Only the retailers have the final say in when they will sell the product", Katz keeps telling us.
Did you noticed all of the 10,000 block share selling today? Perhaps 200,000 were sold with these type of blocks today. Maybe Jon T is correct in the offshore thing.
O'Mara might have a bonus system and options of purchase. It does seem odd that he might not own any shares now. If he is truly the main person with the marketing plan, his track record so far has been piss poor. This indicates to me that a big future with the product is very questionable, just because some of the people involved are dragging this product into a big hole. This is why I must sell when they finally come out with the units. (Assuming that this happens at all. There still is a risk, however small, that the UniView will not be selling to the market before Christmas. I remember back in February that I would not invest any more money into this company until the units were on the shelves. Unfortunately, I got excited way to early, and have ever since been 100% with this company for over 6 months. What a waste of my money! If only I had waited for my "on the shelf demand"!) I wonder when the yearly shareholders meeting will be.
The only information that I have is old news from last June on employees that own stock.
