West Nile has gotten close to here too. I like bats and wish they didn't get rabies, they eat a lot of mosquitoes. Sue left the door open for the dogs one day while she was in the shower. A bat flew in and crawled into her towel. Fell out in the shower when she was drying off. EEEK! I carried it outside where it fell asleep and dried off. Cute little thing. Doctors here will tell you that you can't get Lyme disease. The paper just carried an article about a husband and wife who have it.
