I don't think anyone should worry about this. The architecture
of these chips are not even close. Besides it is not to
Patriots advantage do something stupid like that, biting
the hands that feeds them. They depend on SUN to create
market demand for their products.

Just to give you an idea. PSC1000 architecture is pretty good
for Java applications because it allows for about 40% of the
bytecode instructions to execute natively without the help
of JVM. However the other 60% of the instructions are still
translated. SUN's Java chips are 100% native bytecode execution
chips. The architecture is that of a stack machine (0 address
machine) whereas PSC1000 is that of a traditional RISC machine.
They are very dissimilar chips.
