Dear QS: As usual the media took what he said OUT OF CONTEXT. Bastards, they are responsible for a lot of this BS IMHO. I watched him, he said " Accounting today is very complicated requiring estimates and forecasts. As things change forecasts have to be revised. No one forsaw the current situation and as a result it is not surprising a number of downward revisions will be necessary" That is not an EXACT QUOTE but its a damn sight closer to what he said then that WSJ article says. Damn I wish financial editors could count. JDN
