Why make such a big fuss over it? He heard the company was in trouble and dumped the stock. It's pathetically obvious. These people do this all the time, and unless they do something really, really, stupid they generally get away with it. It's not the end of the world. If the whole corporate ethics thing hadn't turned into a big issue nobody would even remember.

Don't get your knickers in a twist over it, it'll blow over soon enough. Probably when there's some other bit of dirt to talk about. Just remember the reality: where politics and business come together, nobody is clean. If anybody looks clean, people just haven't looked hard enough. If they were clean they wouldn't be there.

Fortunately, a bit of dirt here and there is by no means a fatal disadvantage. The likelihood that Bush has probably been involved in some dodgy deals is the least of my worries about him.
