Regarding the forgoing; I calld RIDE and spoke to both the girl who answered the phone, and the IR person. The secratary laughed at the thought of all the parking stalls being empty. Her comment was that there usually is not enough parking. She says it's business as usual. The IR man also reassured me that they are conducting business as usual, their doors are not locked. With regard to the trucks out back with all the logos on them. Those are likely the demo vans RIDE stocks with product to travel to the resorts during the winter months. It is now summer, so the vans are parked out back until this winter when they will once again hit the promotion road. The IR man also said that the industry is still flat owing to the inventory oversupply, which he feels should flush through this season, winder 97/98. He also said that they may begin to see a return of earnings growth in the winter 98/99 season. Remember, we've got the Winter games next year where snowboarding will be a medal sport. Things may well come together late next year.
