shorterm forecasts tough, longer term forecasts easier

follow the dollar
its rise ushered in a long period of supposed prosperity
it is never easy
but now the tide is flowing out
some regard the declining dollar as a brief adjustment
I seriously doubt it

I have supported some claims with facts and references
the Puplava Financial Sense Perfect Storm article is a good start
his entire Storm Series is 10 chapters
he predicted the bubble bust in Feb, 1999

I have access to some data
sure, used some generalizations
I perused thru 100 posts on this thread
and found almost no data anywhere

no better teacher out there than one's own experiences
some learn, others dont
tons of data out there
and more importantly, tons of misleading principles and constructs out there also
e.g. Phillips Curve, benefits of lower Dollar, Fed cuts always stimulate, market always comes back, world will never abandon the US beacon of capitalism

but our press is not telling much of the dissenting story
not in my perception
where is discussion about gold and Fed suppression?
nowhere
the press declares an end to bear market every six weeks
the media trots out so-called experts to tell us that inventory levels are low, so the recession is over
utter crapp
you know it
