now that being said, apple needs to do something about only having a major product introduction every one or two years, and get that to a major product introduction every 6 months, then you will see some real gains.......

I agree. However, in all fairness it must be said that Apple has had, on the average, more than one product introduction a year since Jobs took over:

iMac, flat panel iMac, Cube+Cinema Display, PBs, Starfish PMs, iBook, OS X, iPod, XServe.

It is just that these product intros, however successful, have not created enough traction for Apple even though they arrested it's decline.

This seems to suggest that Apple needs to introduce revolutionary products at the rate of once every quarter, if it is to retake significant market share in the broader PC market.
