I understand the semicond trends
but that was all in the rising dollar world econ envmt
we are no longer in that envmt

that is principally why so much forecasting gets snarled
a declining dollar envmt changes EVERYTHING

it makes our entire debt-based economy more difficult to fund
with the lost grease comes much more grinding

all trends have now seen a sea change
they mostly can be attributed to broken US asset bubble, declining dollar, and rising debts

I hear you and respect your data
but how does your world change in this new envmt?
Europeans expect the dollar decline to resume very soon
will Asian suppliers be able to hold back in price rises?
