bond markets sensing pay back in cheaper dollars

good article on what bond holders must be feeling about right now. also notes canada has raised short term rates recently several times. i know if i had any inclination to buy long term bonds, now would not be one of those times.

"Are investors beginning to think that Easy Al implicitly wants some higher inflation so that he can bail out a nation of debtors? Are bond investors, global and domestic, sensing that they are going to be paid back in "cheaper" dollars? From Easy Al's position, a softer dollar in combination with a weaker bond market is not what he wants. If these trends were to continue, the FOMC might be forced, by the markets, into raising short rates. That would be ugly not only for the stock market but the housing market, too."
