Actually; I think Easy Al is going to have to cut rates a total of .75 bp... 3 x .25 bp each, or a surprise .50bp soon (very soon) and a .25 bp. follow up this winter....before deflation is stopped and inflation even shows up on the Magoo-radar screen. NOTHING is responding people ~ and it's too late to worry about further rate cuts scaring the market... as they're already changing underwear 3 x a day now. It's time for some SHOCK therapy imho. Easy Al & the PPT can't get a rally to stick. If we fall into the DOW mid 7,000's (and we will shortly imho) - THAT will be the inflection point that all of these Fund Mgrs & Markets pundits who have so cavalierly cited that the US Investor hasn't panicked yet, nor are REDEMPTIONS a problem etc... will see Jesus and learn about "real" REDEMPTION ! ...it's coming. Fund Mgr's are mo-rons if they don't start discounting earnings for options....and you know what that's going to do to the S&P and DOW, let alone the NAZZIE's who are buried in option abuse. Payback in "cheaper dollars" is the only thing left... they know how to ultimately stop and beat inflation (maybe we can buy some "WIN" - <whip inflation now> buttons off EBAY here, before they get real expensive (VBG) ~ Getting ready to return to my BEAR-BUNKER and waiting to re-load the Yellow Train.
