Action sees increase in profits and reven

OCALA, Fla., July 16 (Reuter) - Action Products International Inc said Wednesday it expects to
post an increase in earnings in its third and fourth quarters, and to have an increase in profits and
revenues for the 1998 fiscal year.

Earnings in the third and fourth quarters are expected to increase even if sales finish slightly off
from last year, the company said.

Action Products said the projected increases in revenues and profits in 1998 will be in line with a
new divisional focus, new products and new profit model.
