I don't see the connection, but go ahead and believe what you will. Just a few questions for clarification, though. What criteria makes software design a niche area? What on earth could possibly be the connection of proof between Apple making an iPod supporting Wintel boxes and Apple's survivability? Design alone? What do you mean make it on design alone? Dell is making it on design alone. The company has done nothing but design a direct purchase model and design a few cases. They have given NOTHING to the computer industry in the form of new innovation. Apple seems to be the LAST consumer product developer in the personal computer space. You make no sense. HerbVic
