The President has seen the evidence, and he has made his decision. He will no longer allow the Palestinian people to be used as pawns in the region. Saddam Hussein has made overt, covert or implied threats against his neighbors in the region. Some of these threats can be easily found in public reports published by the Arab media, others remain secret to American intelligence agencies. Saddam Hussein has shown with his words and his actions, that he is the “puppet-master” who is orchestrating the offensive terrorist attacks that are outside of the areas specified in the Arab League peace plan. His strategy is flawed, and it is dangerous for the region.
