jjsirius--You bring up an interesting question:
Specifically the old 'Which came first the chicken or the egg.'
The question is not particularly interesting, at least to me. What is interesting is to find people who actually seriously ponder it. They are the salt of the earth types. They always seem to have the wide-eyed, puzzled look of the truly stupid.
Sadly most were cleaned out at the end of the stock boom. It may be another generation before we see them with full bank accounts again. I may have to go to 'value investing'.
