And so I see the folks here continue to discuss, argue, etc ..religion, belief, whatever..
What a waste of time, energy in a microcosm, a cause of too much strife, IMO.. It should be off limits:
If I was the "King of the World,I would tell you what I would do,, I would do away with all the cars, and the bars and the wars... and make sweet love to you "" (3DN) and I would add to that and make the "supreme universal crime", to be... to argue about religion and/or belief..
Because each individual believes something different, and many/most try to convert the other to their side.. And when they can't, they become unfriendly, maybe enemies at the worst.... at some level.. And these individual disputes, being a microcosm of the bigger, lead to the larger, maybe eventually to a societal level, to where we see, unfortunately, now in the ME.. Suicide bombers and relentless retaliation, etc..... Bottom line,, GRIEF, with nothing settled..
Is it worth it?? to even start the ball of thought rolling on these private thoughts.. To paraphrase and to ALL:
"Live your beleifs and let others live theirs"
In the individual pursuit of .. "peace, harmony and happiness"
