Nice post, Coug; and I understand and respect it. But "Live your beleifs and let others live theirs" is not the staus quo...nor is it a defense against aggression or wrongfulness. This gentle kindness will not stop a tank. It will not even stop spit. I think you remember that old saw about "they came for the...and I said nothing"--etc. Your point is well taken. But we cannot forever and all escape to those beautiful sierra slopes... So long as people DO try to foist their beliefs upon others...so long must people insist on their right to go to the mountains...OR NOT...and to exist as they wish.
