Glad that you cleared up that mystery. I have to admit that I became intrigued and spent a little of last night poking around online trying to see if the photo might have been of Glenn Gould as that seemed very likely. Oddly enough, of all of the familiar photos of Gould, none of them were by Karsh. Seems strange when you consider that they were living and working in the same general area over the same decades. However, most of the Gould photos that I found seemed to have been taken during performances or rehearsals and I don't think that would have suited Karsh's usual m.o.
