Dell and Printers.

Why would a retailer want to put a Dell Cartridge in their store when Dell is a DIRECT COMPETITOR?

Costco might not care but most of the other stores make money selling PCs. IF Dell was smart, it would offer some sort of rebate so they could get the customer's name and address. Then they would start to send their monthly advertising of new Dell Systems direct to the customer's home. They might even offer to send the cartridges direct in the future as there is no sales tax in TX which, when added to the cut they have to pay the retailer, would pay for the shipping.

I just wish I had followed the institution's lead and dumped this puppy when the talks of merging started.
