Prescription for Stock Market Death Spiral.

On Monday the Fed bought enough stock futures to raise the Dow 400 points from it's low. Why? so that the stock market plunge of 460 points would not be the lead story on the news. Better to have 4 days of 100 point drops, that way each day's drop can be the second story behind kidnapped Californians or Al Gore's shoe color.

The Fed has by today lost all the money it spent on Plunge Protection and since the government has no money that amount is added to the public debt. The increased public debt is a major factor in the market drop meaning the Fed will have to step in again. Once again Bush Jr. is presiding over a massive transfer of wealth from the public sector (you and me) to Wall Street titans. Day by day the spiral continues.
